Eligibly is operated by Akshita Dhariwal, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom, trading as Eligibly. For anything about your data, write to privacy@eligibly.co.uk and we will reply within 30 days. Our postal address is available on request.

Eligibly publishes information from official government sources. It is not an immigration adviser and does not give immigration advice.

The job advert you paste. Used to work out the occupation code, your salary threshold and the employer’s licence status. Held in memory for the length of the request. Not written to our database.

Your CV, if you upload one. Read to check whether it supports the occupation code and answers the advert’s requirements. It is never written to our database or to disk. The extracted text is returned to your own browser so the CV builder can use it, and it is gone when you close the tab.

Your email address and password, if you create an account. The password is stored only as a PBKDF2 hash, so nobody at Eligibly can read it, including us.

A count of the checks you have run, so the free allowance and any subscription work.

We do not collect your name, address, nationality, date of birth, passport or visa details, and we never ask for them.

To run the service you asked for — checking adverts, reading your CV, keeping you signed in, taking payment. This is necessary for the contract between us.

Marketing email — only with your consent, given by ticking a box that is never pre-ticked and never required. You can withdraw it at any time, from any email we send or by asking us.

Keeping the service secure and accounted for — our legitimate interest in preventing abuse and meeting our tax obligations.

Anthropic processes your CV and the job advert to judge how well they match. They act on our instructions and do not train models on it.

Stripe handles payment. Card details go straight to Stripe and never touch our servers.

Resend sends the emails about your account.

Render and Vercel host the service.

That is the complete list. We do not sell your data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not pass anything to employers, universities or the Home Office.

Your CV and pasted adverts: not at all. They exist for the length of the request and are then gone.

Your account: until you ask us to delete it. Ask and we will, within 30 days.

Payment records: six years, because HMRC requires it.

Two, both strictly necessary, neither used for tracking or advertising. One remembers that you are signed in. One counts your free checks. There are no analytics or advertising cookies on this site, which is why you are not being asked to accept anything.

You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. Write to privacy@eligibly.co.uk. It is free and we will reply within 30 days.

If you think we have got something wrong you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We would rather you told us first, but it is your right either way.

If we change how any of this works we will update this page and change the date at the top. If the change is significant and you have an account, we will email you about it.
